April is designated as the Month of the Military Child, underscoring the important role military children play in the armed forces community. This year, SERV@GTRI and STEM@GTRI are partnering to help us honor this month. Come out to the STEM outreach event on April 29 at GTRI HQ (250 14th St).

What to expect?

During SERV@GTRI’s Outreach day, guests will explore a series of interactive demonstrations that appeal to a variety of age groups. Stations will include:

  • A liquid nitrogen experiment.
  • A Van de Graaff generator.
  • Earth/Moon model making.
  • Spectrum tubes (with take-home rainbow glasses).
  • And much more!

Join us for lunch and a self-paced exploration of the stations.

In order to make the event as safe as possible for our guests, parents/caregivers will be required to be present.
