Introduction

Welcome to the Iron Scale briefing series. Registration is free but by invitation only. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Dates and Location

This event will take place Tuesday through Thursday, March 31st - April 2nd, 2026. While the laboratory tours will span multiple buildings on the Georgia Tech campus, the curriculum will primarily take place in the Centennial Research Building. Reserved parking will be available to participants at the surface lot across the street.

Dress Code

The dress code for this event will be casual. The lab tours will involve walking and gowning up for the cleanroom. Please dress in comfortable closed-toed shoes and slacks/pants for those days.

Weather in Atlanta during March can be variable, so please check the weather before you depart and plan accordingly.

Security Information

This event is classified and requires all attendees to hold the appropriate DoD security clearance. Security clearance verification is the initial step in the registration process for this event. All attendees, except Atlanta-based GTRI employees, are required to submit a Visit Authorization Request by following the instructions outlined below:

Due to quirks with our VAR process and the rooms we are visiting, you must submit two separate VARs. one for collateral and one for SCI. Both use the same SMO code but go to different, non-overlapping workflows.
