Accelerating Innovation in Defense Technology: Connecting Research, Mission, Markets, and Capital
This workshop convenes key stakeholders to examine and optimize partnerships between government initiatives and programs within the DRE designed to facilitate technology transition to accelerate the path from discovery to impact. The morning session will examine opportunities, constraints, and institutional innovation practices within UARCs, FFRDCs, non-profits, and universities, with particular attention to partnership models, technology transition pathways, and barriers that slow commercialization and deployment. The afternoon session will bring in defense-focused investors, dual-use accelerators, and founders to provide perspective on what enables promising technologies to move beyond the lab into programs of record, operational capability, and scalable commercial markets.
Registration of attendees will be granted at the discretion of the organizers.

Event Parking
On-site parking is available via the parking garage connected to the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. The garage is accessible near the hotel's main entrance at Spring St. NW and Armstead Pl NW (across from Barnes & Noble) or via the garage entrance at Spring St NW and 4th St NW.
Self parking is $21 for unlimited in/out access. Prices subject to change.
